RVUNL Exam Pattern for AE, JE, Junior Chemist, Accounts Officer, Personnel Officers & Informatics Assistant

Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (RVUNL) Exam Pattern or Scheme of Examination for the post of Assistant Engineers, Junior Engineers, Accounts Officer, Personnel Officers, Junior Chemists, and Informatics Assistant.

1. The RVUNL Written Exam (For Assistant Engineers, Junior Engineers, Accounts Officer, Personnel Officers, Junior Chemists, and Informatics Assistant) will be conducted online i.e Computer Based Test.
2. There are two sections of the test, Part A and Part B.
3. Number of question including Part-A and Part-B = 140 Questions
4. Maximum Marks including Part-A and Part-B = 200 Marks
5. The duration of the test is 120 minutes.
6. All questions will have multiple choices. Out of five answers to a question, only one will be the correct answer.
7. For every wrong answer marked, 1/4 th of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as a penalty.
8. Both part A and part B are separately timed. Candidate can attempt any question in allotted 60 minutes for the respective part. Candidate will not be able to attempt any question from part B while attempting part A and vice versa.

Part B:

Name of the Test: Reasoning & Mental Ability, General Knowledge (GK) & Everyday Science, General Hindi, General English, Mathematics

Maximum Marks: 80 Marks
Duration: 60 Minutes
1. Reasoning & Mental Ability: Number of Question: 08, Maximum Marks: 08
2. General Knowledge (GK) & Everyday Science:

• GK related to Rajasthan: Number of Question: 36, Maximum Marks: 36
• GK related to World, India and Everyday Science: Number of Question: 12, Maximum Marks: 12

3. General Hindi: Number of Question: 08, Maximum Marks: 08
4. General English: Number of Question: 08, Maximum Marks: 08
5. Mathematics: Number of Question: 08, Maximum Marks: 08

Part A (Professional Knowledge): 

1. For Assistant Engineer and Junior Engineer Posts: The standard and syllabus of the examination will be of the level of Degree in Engineering in the respective discipline.

Part B (Reasoning & Mental Ability, General Knowledge (GK) & Everyday Science, General Hindi, General English, Mathematics):

1. Reasoning & Mental Ability: Analytical Reasoning, Number series, Letter series, Odd man out, Coding-Decoding, Shapes and Mirror Images, Clocks, etc.

2. General Knowledge (GK) & Everyday Science: Current events including issues of State (Rajasthan), National & International importance, Persons & Places in recent news, Games & Sports, Science, Indian History, Civics, Geography, Indian Polity, etc., with special reference to Rajasthan.

3. General Hindi: Hindi Grammar and Language (Class-X level)

4. General English: English Grammar and Language (Class-X level)

5. Mathematics: Mathematics (Class-X level). For Assistant Engineer Posts, Mathematics (Class-XII level).
