West Bengal Municipal Service Commission Vacancy Details:
1. Assistant Engineer (Civil): 03 (UR-01, SC-01, OBC(A)-01)
Educational Qualification: A Degree in Civil of a recognized University or its equivalent.
Desirable: i) One year’s post graduate practical training or study or research or practical engineering experience.
ii) Passing the examination of “O” level in Computer Application.
2. Assistant Engineer (Mechanical): 02 (UR-01, SC-01)
Educational Qualification: A Degree in Mechanical of a recognized University or its equivalent.
Desirable: i) One year’s post graduate practical training or study or research or practical engineering experience.
ii) Passing the examination of “O” level in Computer Application.
3. Assistant Engineer (Electrical): 02 (UR-01, SC-01)
Educational Qualification: A Degree in Electrical of a recognized University or its equivalent.
Desirable: i) One year’s post graduate practical training or study or research or practical engineering experience.
ii) Passing the examination of “O” level in Computer Application.
4. Sub-Assistant Engineer (Civil): 36 (UR-20, SC-07, ST-02, OBC-07)
Educational Qualification: A Diploma in Civil Engineering from the State Council for Engineering & Technical Education or its equivalent.
Desirable: One year’s practical training or study or research or practical engineering experience in Municipal Engineering Work.
5. Sub-Assistant Engineer (Mechanical): 23 (UR-13, SC-04, ST-02, OBC-04)
Educational Qualification: A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the State Council for Engineering & Technical Education or its equivalent.
Desirable: One year’s practical training or study or research or practical engineering experience in Municipal Engineering Work.
6. Sub-Assistant Engineer (Electrical): 23 (UR-12, SC-06, ST-01, OBC-04)
Educational Qualification: A Diploma in Electrical Engineering from the State Council for Engineering & Technical Education or its equivalent.
Desirable: One year’s practical training or study or research or practical engineering experience in Municipal Engineering Work.
Note: Candidates having higher qualification can apply for Sub-Assistant Engineer Posts.
Age Limit: Maximum 37 years as on 01/01/2019.
Application Fee: Candidates must pay Application Fee of 220 RS for UR & OBC candidates and 70 RS for SC/ ST candidates.
