MNRE Recruitment 2019: Ministry of New & Renewable Energy (MNRE) has published a recruitment notification for the post of Scientist 'B' (Group 'A' Gazetted). As per notification, there are a total of 10 posts. Candidates who are looking for jobs through GATE can apply online for this post.

Minimum Eligibility Criteria For MNRE Recruitment:
1. Educational Qualification: Master's Degree in Natural or Agricultural Science or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized university or institute.
2. Eligible GATE Subject: Chemical (CH), Electronics and Communication (EC), Electrical (EE), Mechanical (ME), Engineering Science (XE)
3. Minimum Marks in GATE 2019 (out of 100):
- General/UR/UR(EWS) - 70 marks
- OBC - 60 marks
- SC/ST/PwD - 50 marks
Application Fee: No Application Fee
Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years, which is relaxable up to 5 years for government servants and candidates belonging to SC/ST and 3 years for candidates belonging to OBC(NCL).

After this, Complete application in all respects including photocopies of relevant documents/certificates should be sent to Under Secretary (Administration), Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Block No. 14, CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi - 110003, by registered post or through speed post in a cover superscribed Application Form for the post of Scientist 'B' within a period of 30 days from date of notification.
Selection Process:
1. Candidates are shortlisted for Interview on the basis of GATE 2019 Score Card.
2. Final Merit list shall be prepared based on the weightages assigned to the various parameter as follows:
- Weightage of GATE 2019 Marks - 50 marks
- Personal Interview - 50 marks
- Total Marks - 100 marks
