Age Limit:
- For the Central Water Commission and the Central Public Works Department (CPWD), the maximum age limit is 32 years.
- For the Department of Posts, the maximum age limit is 27 years.
- For the Military Engineer Services (MES) department, the maximum age limit for Junior Engineer (Quantity Surveying and Contracts) is 27 years.
- For Military Engineer Services (MES), Farakka Barrage Project, Border Road Organization, Central Water and Power Research Station, Directorate of Quality Assurance (Naval), and National Technical Research Organization (NTRO) maximum age limit is 30 years.
Selection Process:
SSC Junior Engineer Exam will be conducted in two phases.
1. Computer-Based objective test
2. Conventional Exam

- Candidates can register using Aadhaar Card or other ID like PAN Card, Voter ID Card, School/College ID Card, Passport, Driving License and Employer Id (Govt/PSU/Private)
- After registration, you will get the registration number and password.
